Serves 6 - 8

3 1/2 Lbs. Half ripe Plantain
ntain 1 3/4 kg
4 1/2 Lbs. Brown Beans 2 1/4 kg
1/2 lb. Dried Fish 1/4 kg
1/4 pt. Palm oil 1/8 lt.
Pinch of salt and pepper
- Place

- Boil until nearly cooked.
- Wash, peel and cut the plantain in big cubes.
- Add the plantain and continue cooking until they are cooked.
- Add pepper, salt, dried fish and palm oil.
- Simmer until thickened.
- Mash the beans and the plantain with a wooden spoon till thoroughly mixed.
- Remove from the heat. Serve hot.
- Serve on its own or with beef, or fish or chicken stew, separately.
