A Clean Kitchen in Just 15 Minutes!

SERIES "1"

Ingenious tricks to make after-meal cleanups a snap

No matter who brings home the bacon, somebody's left cleaning up the mess it makes after it gets cooked.

And chances are, that somebody is you.

But with a little organization and a few simple shortcuts, you can turn after-meal mayhem into 15 minutes or less of easy cleanup.

We've consulted with all sorts of experts to put together these tips for making sure post-dinner messes are small and easily taken care of.

Before Cooking Begins

It's a law of nature: mess attracts mess. If you cook in a kitchen that's disorganized and dirty, you'll waste time and end up with a bigger mess. Guaranteed.

Instead, treat yourself to clean counters, an empty sink, and laundered dish towels before the water boils or the oil hits the pan.

Keep cleaning stations clear. If your dishwasher or sink is full, there's no place to put dirty bowls and spatulas as you cook. That's when things pile up on counters. One of the first rules of a clean kitchen is to not let dirty items accumulate. Keep those cleaning stations clear and ready for action!
